The CNX3000 general maintenance kit is ideal for those who want to monitor voltage and current. The CNX system has been designed with powerful wireless communication, to allow the signal to get through, even when surrounded by high frequency machinery.
This basic kit comes supplied with the Fluke CNX 3000 DMM, a current module and a voltage module. Both units will transmit data to the DMM, or alternatively you can have the data transmitted to a PC. The DMM will simultaneously display both voltage and current readings, as well as a third DMM specific reading.
This new system allows for data to be collected and tracked, without putting the user in danger. Modules can be left in-situ and monitored at a safe distance. Monitoring of loads in hard to reach areas is also made easier with the CNX system. Each module features a bright, backlit display for easy reading in poorly lit areas, and the whole system comes complete with test leads, magnetic holders and a soft carry case.
The integrated PC module allows for the data to be transferred from the wireless modules to a PC. The software allows you to program the modules for logging as well as download results and export them to an Excel spreadsheet. Up to 10 individual modules can be connected to the PC, so you are able to expand on this basic kit in the future, should your application require it.
Each individual module has a logging capability of 65,000 records and a battery life of over 400 hours. This ensures that you can maintain logging over longer periods without worrying about loss of records due to the batteries running out. The logging intervals can be set to capture readings every second, minute or hour via the PC software (supplied).
The wireless modules will successfully communicate with each other over a distance of up to 20 metres. The specific wireless frequency is unique and therefore will not be affected by 60Hz noise. Fluke have also ensured the products have been fully tested in industrial environments in order to ensure the transmission will not be affected by common plant and machinery, phones, radio frequencies or microwaves.
